The aim of SMILE-VET is to improve the quality of and empower vocational education, by learning in ALM (Archives, Libraries and Museums) and cultural heritage. The project aims to increase the number of cooperations between institutions and educational organisers. This will be done through dissemiantion of interdisciplinary material and teachers courses.

The project is about the possibility of acknowledgement of informal and non formal learning. The new system shall make it possible for persons who reached a high competence within a profession that they have not studied for or have a degree in, to have their competence acknowledged and thereby use it on the employment market.
